Alternative Party - Art and Technology Exhibition Cable Factory Helsinki October 2009
An annual digital culture festival which began as a demoparty in 1998, Alternative Party explores creativity in arts, technology and science. The event, held at the Cable Factory in Helsinki, Finland, was an opportunity to develop the physical size and timescale of the installation work and brought it to a new audience of visitors from all over Europe. As well as increased size and timescale, the installation saw further develoments in the use of video which resulted in a more cohesive audio visual experience as the video interacted more directly with still photos, vectors and pixel graphics.
