Continuing research into how interactions within urban environments can positively impact upon individual or group perceptions regarding a local area, I Remember, This Place Is and I Hope To See are developments from This Belongs To.

Participants use the transparent acrylic boards as a frame for viewing their chosen locations. These are then annotated or draw onto, giving the impression of the marks being made directly on the landscape. If lighting conditions permit, the board may also be used to cast a shadow of the text or drawing on to a suitable surface.

The boards have also been used to interact with photographs by incorporating projected images to share memories in a more illustrative fashion.

The boards have been featured in a series of community workshops in Hulme, Manchester, which focus on local residents' connections with place.
