On Saturday 17th September 2011, Glittermouse visited the Garden City Festival run by Wythenshawe Regeneration Team and ran a crafts workshop for local familes. Participants considered the things that would improve their area and used these as starting points to make their own ‘future souvenirs’ using glass painting techniques. Those who participated learnt new craft techniques as well as developing their understanding of certain theoretical aspects of design. All those who joined in said that they were happy with their final outcomes and that they found the theme stimulating.
