This Place Is is a public project launched in summer 2012 that aims to build up a physical record of personal responses to a variety of places, starting from the UK and hopefully including places all over the world. Continuing a social practice which explores perceptions of place and the capacity of the arts to improve relationships with and in it, This Place Is hopes to provide a platform for people to share and discuss the places and spaces they inhabit... or wish they inhabited.
Contributions will be featured online in the These Places Are gallery and will then be physically displayed in an dedicated exhibition.
