A Drowned Mouse

Today I decided to take myself out ‘between light showers, so what if I get a bit damp?’ to amongst other things find out how long it takes me to run from home to the Ethiad Stadium (where Salford Harriers, a club I am considering joining) meet and also to test out my new SuperFeet Berry insoles. I was having a lovely time until the heavens absolutely opened on me!

Lessons learned on June 2nd;
1)      it takes 16 minutes at an easy pace to get to the stadium
2)      even light weight fast drying fabric gets surprisingly heavy when drenched
3)      it is difficult to maintain a good pace when you have water being sprayed horizontally into your eyes
4)      SuperFeet insoles are comfortable and thankfully dry fast without getting smelly. Bonus!
